How is PRP treatment performed at SSSKIN?

First consultation (free)
An initial consultation with our therapist is scheduled before treatment. This allows us to perform a personalized diagnosis, identify your skin's needs, and plan your first session.

Blood sampling
First of all, the therapist ensures that the conditions of asepsis and hygiene are strictly respected at each stage of preparation, because the product obtained must be of the highest quality. The first step consists of a classic blood test at a quantity of approximately 8 ml.

Centrifugation
After blood collection, the blood will be centrifuged. This operation is carried out in 8-10 min in order to isolate the plasma (PRP) from the other elements of the blood by centrifugation.

Re-injection
The final step is to reinject the recovered plasma into your skin using sterile microneedles. The amount of plasma and the depth of injection are adapted according to your needs. The procedure lasts between 1 hour and 1.5 hours. You can resume your daily activities very quickly after the treatment.

How long does it take to see results from PRP?
It takes 3 to 6 months to start seeing results. The effects of the treatment improve further over the months and treatments. The skin is smoother, softer and brighter and the hair is more revitalized and voluminous and the fall is more controlled.
How long does a PRP session last?
A complete PRP session lasts between 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the surface area and number of areas to be treated, and the time it takes for blood collection, plasma extraction and reinjection.
When to do PRP after a hair transplant?
You can do PRP 10 days after a hair transplant or before the procedure to stimulate dormant hair follicles and encourage regrowth.
Does PRP treat baldness?
PRP cannot treat very advanced baldness or a bald area that is completely devoid of hair. Note that the treatment does not regrow hair that no longer exists. However, in cases of incipient or moderate baldness, PRP can slow down hair loss and make it thicker.
Additionally, pulsed hair removal carries a greater risk of burns than laser hair removal.
